About you…
The people I work with are almost always high performers. They’ve built strong careers through capability, commitment and drive.
But at key inflection points – stepping into a bigger leadership role, navigating change, or facing difficult decisions – something can shift. Expectations, responsibility and complexity may increase sharply.
In response, a new way of thinking and operating may be called for.
…taking that bold step
There are certain pivotal moments when you know you need to take a bold step for your career and life to develop and flourish. That could be taking on a new role or project, or a bigger change of direction. Or it might be finding a completely new way to manage existing challenges – so you feel more at ease and in control.
Despite knowing that bold step is needed, you may hesitate – feeling confused or daunted by what lies ahead. Or perhaps you gird your loins and go ahead anyway, but then find yourself overwhelmed or underprepared. Things may seem to be going well enough on the outside. But on the inside, you may doubt yourself and your ability to keep pace with unfolding events.
At these points, the solution lies less in how well you negotiate external factors. Just pushing harder, relying on expertise or keeping everything under control won’t cut it. What’s really needed is a successful internal negotiation – between competing needs, instincts, and expectations inside you. When that happens, a new modus operandi can arise in you – fit for this next stage of your evolution.
About our work together
I understand how lonely these key inflection points can feel. The higher you progress in a hierarchy or your field, the fewer opportunities you may have for honest reflection.
At these times, you don't need someone to tell you what to do. You need to step back, explore openly and reconnect with your own judgement. This is precisely what coaching with me provides: a structured, confidential space where you can do your best thinking – so you can move forward with clarity, confidence and direction.
Together we'll handle your inner negotiation, so you can untangle complexity, explore different perspectives and make sense of competing demands. We'll notice the habits and assumptions that may be shaping your decisions, strengthen your confidence to act in line with your values and translate new insights into meaningful change in your leadership and life.
About me
Looking back, a core thread throughout my life has been a fascination in people: how we think and make sense of our experiences, and what enables us to flourish. That curiosity first led me to study Classics & Philosophy. It then led me on a winding path via communications and project management to coaching, mediation and mindfulness.
The longer I've coached, the more I’ve come to understand that my job isn’t to help people ‘improve’, but to become more fully themselves. The qualities we seek – clarity, confidence, resilience and presence – aren't things we acquire from outside ourselves. They emerge as we understand ourselves more deeply and respond more wisely to the situations we face.
Alongside coaching, I’m a qualified mindfulness trainer and author of The ABC Guide to Mindfulness. This supports my focus on helping clients develop clarity and steadiness under pressure – in ways that translate directly into working life.
Like many of the people I work with, I’ve faced my own crossroads and made my own bold moves. Coaching played a central role in helping me find clarity and act with confidence – and that experience continues to inform how I work.
